-Intimate Destination Wedding in Austria-

Romance is the most important element of a destination wedding in Austria. And how could it not be? Austria, famously beautiful, is a magnificent canvas where each couple can have a dreamy, delicate wedding. No country waltzes so effortlessly between urban and outdoors as Austria. One day you’re cresting alpine summits, the next you’re swanning around imperial Vienna. When I got off the plane, I knew this wedding had something unique.

For Jenny and Robin, the imperial flair of the country was the main inspiration for their wedding day. They chose the softness of pastel shades and delicate elements for their destination wedding in Austria. If you’ve been to the country – and I highly advise you to plan a short trip there- you feel like you’re stepping into the past. There is a part of Austria that is untouched by time, a monument to the baroque architecture, and gardens of the imperial design. At the same time, the country is vibrant with crisp energy that wakes you up. It’s perfect for a wedding morning.

A perfect destination wedding in Austria: Villa Raczynski

Jenny and Robin chose to get married in the Villa Raczynski. This villa resembles a small chateau on the hills on top of Bregenz and it is a hidden gem Austria has to offer. This lovely place dates back to 1877 when a Polish earl gave this hideaway to his beloved wife as a birthday present. 1904 it was bought by the order of the Dominicans and was turned into a cloister. It still belongs to the Dominican order and is run by its sisters. The whole estate is absolutely breathtaking. Lavish gardens and rich decoration both outside and inside of the villa make this place really special.

It’s utterly romantic for a destination wedding in Austria because the interior and the gardens give you the impression of getting married in a small castle. The couple wanted the grand simplicity it offered to celebrate an intimate wedding with their closest and dearest. The tall imperial style windows were perfect for the wedding portraits in the early spring light of Austria. To add to the romance, Jenny chose a beautiful dusty pink wedding dress and pink bridal florals and Robin a crisp tuxedo.

Waltzing and Love

Do you know what’s great about a destination wedding in Austria? The waltzing, that’s practically the national dance of the country. Jenny and Robin kept waltzing in the ballroom of the villa. It gave us the prettiest photos and the warmest atmosphere because dancing to a wedding is like love to spring; completely necessary! Their first look and their first dance, their big commitment to each other made their wedding day unlike all the others because no wedding is the same and no couple shares the same kind of love. I left them with the hope for a beautiful life together, the tenderness of heart their love story gave me, and dreams that everyone finds someone so special to share their life with. Jenny and Robin, I wish you love forever!
