-Baptism Photography in Athens-
The way I do baptism photography changed the moment I became a dad. I believe everyone experiences that change the minute they hold their baby for the first time. You instantly become more sensitive and more loving. You find a little well of love inside you that was there all along without you ever notice it.
A lovely Christening in Margi Farm
Little George’s christening was such a bright day. The celebration was in the Margi Farm, an actual farm a few minutes outside of Athens. Beautiful location to host a baptism pretty for the grownups to enjoy. And filled with farm animals for the little ones to play with!
The setting by Only for You Evens in Greece was inspired by farms in the South of France, where lavender and herbs grow each summer. The tables were set in orange and blue. There were pretty gifs for the little ones to enjoy and tiny happy meals to make their day!
Baptism photography isn’t only about the moments in the church as the baby gets submerged in the water, it’s also about capturing the family together and savoring these portraits forever. If you think about it christenings are opportunities for the extended family to come together and celebrate life in the loveliest way possible!
George’s family wanted a warm and friendly vibe. So the celebration and the baptism photography to be friendly and loving, pretty much like them! We focused around sweet portraits of their little family. And capturing each and every cuddle and tiny kiss, Baptism photography is all about that; the grandmother playing with the baby and the mom and dad being prouder than ever and the guests celebrating. If weddings are for love and intimacy, christenings are for being sweet and celebrating the warmth of togetherness.
